My journey into the financial services field began many years ago when I attended a presentation that revealed the critical need for financial intelligence among the U.S. population. I was struck by how many people lacked a fundamental understanding of how money works. This uncertainty and lack of knowledge often lead to poor financial decisions or, worse, inaction, which can be quite damaging. People end up incurring unmanageable debt, exposing themselves to unnecessary financial risks, and retiring without adequate savings. The complexities of finance, investment, insurance, and planning can be overwhelming, and I felt a calling to make a difference.
I decided to enter the financial services field to provide the education and guidance that people so desperately need. My mission is to improve the financial lives of the people I meet and the clients I acquire. There is nothing more personally rewarding to me than providing broad, sustained, and meaningful improvement in my clients' lives. Being a champion for my clients and their families is not just a job; it's my passion.
I was born in Michigan, but my upbringing was far from stationary. I moved frequently with my parents, including spending six enriching years in North Africa. Living overseas for 17 years profoundly shaped my worldview and appreciation for different cultures, beliefs, food, music, and art. These experiences have made me more empathetic and understanding, qualities that I bring to my work every day.
Today, I live in Phoenix, Arizona, a place that boasts immense diversity in climate, terrain, botany, and residents. Arizona has evolved into a vibrant food and cultural haven and has become a destination with flights to major international cities. Here, I live with my loving wife and our three cats. I have a passion for music, travel, food, and wine, and I cherish interacting with people from different cultures. I also have a deep appreciation for original artwork and museums.
